چکیده
Abstract Introduction The no-reflow phenomenon is a serious complication of coronary intervention, especially in primary angioplasty and effective preventive measures are unknown. Methods Retrospective study all patients treated by single center through 4 years. We define as the absence flow immediately after stent angioplasty. variables associated with this were analyzed using binary logistic regression. delay to was calculated sum time first medical contact, activation, transfer until arterial puncture. Results included 1453 patients, mean age 64.1 years, 21% women, 16.1% Killip >1. 180 minutes (interquartile range 125–323). No-reflow recorded 81 (5.57%) these had higher (69.37±12.51 vs. 63.76±13.52; p<0.001), (770.93±2056.91 348.80±749.73; presentation grade >1 (29.0% 15.36%; p=0.002), addition lower systolic blood pressure (121.18±28.63 113.37±28.22; p=0.021). Regarding angiography, who developed presented more frequently TIMI-0 (88.89% 70.32%; p<0.001) tendency being left anterior descending culprit vessel (46.91% 36.88, p=0.07). In 59.3% no-reflow, final TIMI 3 achieved, measurements carried out, compared (94.9%) did not have (p<0.001). Multivariate analysis identified following no-reflow: (OR: 1.03 95% CI 1.01–1.05; p=0.008), >120 min 2.70, 1.21–6.00; p=0.015), initial 3.22, 1.57–6.58; p=0.001). fact, aged >40 very low incidence (1.72%), regardless angioplasty; however, >70 years age, much (figure) Hospital mortality 9.25% (125 patients) almost times (23.68% 8.39%; p<0.001). Adjusted for sex, diabetes flow, hospital 2.34 1.02 4.25; p=0.030) Conclusions has but high ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction Age, 0 main predictors no-reflow. No-Reflow Phenomenon in Patients with ST-Elevation Acute Myocardial Infarction, Treated with Primary Percutaneous Coronary Intervention: A Study of Predictive Factors
Introduction: No-reflow phenomenon in coronary vessels, manifested in some patients with reperfused acute myocardial infarction (MI), is associated with poor clinical and functional outcomes. Therefore, evaluation of predisposing risk factors can be helpful in risk assessment and identification of patients at higher risk. Herein, we aimed to study the predictive factors for the development of...

Introduction: No-reflow increases the complications and mortality rate of primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Therefore, it is important to identify patients at a higher risk of developing no-reflow. This study aimed to systematically review the prognostic value of the platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) to predict no-reflow. Materials and Methods:</s...
متن کاملPredicting coronary no-reflow in patients with acute ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction using Bayesian approaches
OBJECTIVE The no-reflow phenomenon is associated with a worse prognosis at follow-up for ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI) patients with a primary percutaneous coronary intervention. To date, there is no effective method to predict no-reflow. The aim of this study was to establish a predictive system to evaluate the risk of no-reflow by integrating multiple types of information...

Background and Objective: One of the most important advancements regarding the care of patients with acute myocardial infarction is the administration of anti-coagulation medicines (e.g., streptokinase). However, it must be noticed that this medicine requires rapid and timely administration. Moreover, Percutaneous Coronary Intervention (PCI) is increasingly used as a method of revascularization...
